Lahinch Seaworld - Aquarium, Leisure Centre, Pool and Gym
Located on the promenade of Lahinch, County Clare, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Lahinch Seaworld & Leisure Centre boasts one of Ireland's largest indoor aquariums. We have also just opened our new gym and fitness centre, Gymworld, in adition to our full sized swimming pool with Jaccuzi, Sauna, Tanning Room and other amenities.
Explore the amazing marine life of the West coast in our Atlantic Aquarium, where you can see and experience the many beautiful and unique species of our region. Splash your way through our swimming pools or relax in our sauna, jacuzzi and steamroom. Our kiddies play area, "Sammy Sharks", offers hours of endless fun for 2 to 10 year-olds and for the whole family there's the Café Sicillian providing delicious fresh food, tea, coffee and more.
For those heading to the beach, why not visit Neptune's Shop which provides everything your family would ever need for a trip to the sea, such as buckets and spades, inflatables, swimsuits, suncream and much more. All in all, the ultimate all weather leisure and activity location.
Opened in 1996, Lahinch Seaworld Aquarium & Leisure Centre has not only become a major tourist attraction but has also developed a strong reputation for providing a range of services and amenities to local people and to the region as a whole.
Lahinch Seaworld is also a member of the Clare Heritage Circle, an organisation dedicated to the promotion of tourism and culture of the region.
As of 2008, Lahinch Seaworld is also part of the Discover Primary Science program helping to educate children about the world around them by bringing the science syllabus to life.
