Characteristics
The European Conger eel, or Conger Conger, is, as its name suggests, a native of Europe, found throughout the North Atlantic Ocean as well as the Mediterranean and Black Sea. It lives, for the most part, in shallow waters, in small caves or tunnels in the rock. When younger they tend to stay closer to the coast but swim to deeper, warmer water to spawn.
The European Conger is the largest of all conger eels with some species growing up to 10 foot long!

Fish, squid and crustaceans
